I am a freelance writer based in Portland, Oregon. I’ve been writing professionally since 1994 and specialize in topics related to religion/spirituality and sustainable living.
Raised in a secular Episcopalian home, I have a Bachelor’s in Religion from Duke University and am a graduate and ordinand of The New Seminary’s interfaith ministry program. I am currently in the process of converting to Judaism and am also a doctoral candidate with the University of Metaphysical Sciences. I recycle religiously — pun only partially intended — have built my own worm composting bin and am happy living in and contributing to one of the U.S.’s most sustainable cities.
